9.Short cycle life
The reasons for the early termination of the life of lead-acid batteries are generally as follows:
(1).Positive plate corrosion, negative plate expansion;
(2).The pole group is short-circuited, and the pole plate is connected to electricity;
(3).The partition is damaged or channeled and the partition is not resistant to corrosion;
(4).Improper ratio of charge and discharge cycles;
(5).The electrolyte density and temperature are too high or too low, and the liquid level is not high enough;
(6).False welding and false welding, the pole plate falls off;
(7).Plate Sulfation
(8).The charging and discharging current is too large.
二. Anatomy and Analysis
When the lead-acid battery test is completed or the battery fails and cannot be ruled out, it is necessary to dissect the battery for observation and analysis. The steps are as follows:
1.Visual inspection
(1).Check the battery compartment for damage and cracks.
(2).Measure the electrolyte density value, the battery terminal voltage and the voltage of each single cell
(3).Check the battery end posts and connecting bars.
2.Anatomical observation
(1).Put the rubber-shell battery into a higher temperature environment and wait for its sealant to soften, then remove the sealant with a knife, cut off the connecting bar with an iron saw, pull out each pole group with an iron hook, and put it into an iron plate Inside.
(2).Use an iron saw for the plastic case battery to cut the battery along the heat-sealed part of the slot cover. After observing whether there is false welding and breakage at the wall welding connection and the connection between the pole and the end column, use an iron saw to saw the wall welding. Open, pull out each pole group and put it into the iron plate.
